What is a participatory process?

A participatory process happens when a working group or committee accepts a simple proposal with complex outcomes. So, for example, if someone suggested we "look at accessibility at party conference", and this proposal ultimately is approved by our democratic processes, then obviously, while we have a decision, we don't actually have an outcome.

The participatory process is a series of different events set up by facilitators and volunteers to turn a simple proposal into a democratically determined complex outcome.
